The accordion-orchestra demonstrates the variety of possibilities, such a musical instrument doesn‘t always show at first sight. There is a wide range of musical creations, from classical music to Swing, Tango and popular compositions. After Mr.Heinz Herold, Mr. Heinz Dähn and Mr. Falko Günter, Mr. Karl Lipsius became conductor of the orchestra in 1998. In the year 1963 it has been founded to represent
the accordion-industry of Klingenthal. The accordion-orchestra went on trips to Italy, Austria, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Russia, Latvia, Moldavia, Armenia, the Ukraine, Belarus, Poland, the Czech Republic, Switzerland and former Yugoslavia.
